Today we will visit the highlights of Durban and spend the afternoon at uShaka Sea World. We will enjoy the seal and dolphin shows in the biggest aquarium in the southern hemisphere.
The origin and history of Durban will be explained to you and we will visit some of the historic sites and monuments. You will hear the story of how a young man, Dick King, rode by horse to Grahamstown to save the British soldiers under siege in Durban. View the spot from which Winston Churchill made his speech after escaping from the Boers.
We will view one of the most authentic African Markets in South Africa. Souvenirs can be purchased from the Victoria Street Market.









09h00 Pick up from accommodation in Durban
We will travel along the Durban beach front, fondly known as the Golden Mile. Places of interest are the Da Gama Clock, Dick King Statue, Durban Harbour, Sugar Mills, Durban City Hall, Moses Mabhida Stadium and the Botanical Gardens.
Learn about the arrival of the Indian community in South Africa and visit the Victoria Street Market to purchase souvenirs.
