Halfday adventure in the Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary in the Magaliesburg
The Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary is a privately owned, non-subsidised sanctuary, covering approximately 7 ha, situated alongside the elephant sanctuary in one of the many kloofs of the Magaliesberg mountain range.

Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary in Hartbeespoort, North West Province is one of only eight free-release primate sanctuaries globally.Primates, such as our squirrel, spider and capuchin monkeys, Previously raised as household pets, or bred for the pet trade, the monkeys are introduced to a wild world laden with waterfalls, lush vegetation, natural mountain springs and the chance to reside in as natural environment as possible

ITINERERY

Itinerary

• We travel past Lanseria Airport and the Hartebeespoortdam area.
• On arrival we you will be guided by a local guide through the sanctuary.
• Actual tour is about an Hour in duration and approximately 3km is walked on elevated walkways were the primates are spotted in their natural environment.
• The experience is described as a non-interactive game-viewing opportunity to see once-captive primates in a wild environment.
Casual walking shoes are preferable
